Delicious Frozen Drinks for Summer


Many of you are enjoying the Pure Paleo chocolate protein powder in a shake with almond or coconut milk and olive oil. As the days stay hot, why not try a slushier version? Linda shared her recipes for delicious frozen versions: I will be trying these. Enjoy and thanks to Linda.

Option 1: Low Carb

1 scoop protein powder
8 oz almond milk
1 cup crushed ice
Blend until ice is completely pureed….should be the consistency of a slushy. For a thicker ice cream like treat put in freezer for 5-10 minutes. Don’t freeze completely

Option 2 — Meal Replacement

1 scoop protein powder
8 oz almond milk
1 small banana (1/2 banana if counting carbs)

Blend until the banana is pureed. Drink will be thicker but not like the frozen version.

Option 3: Favorite version/Meal Replacement Option

1 scoop protein powder
8 oz of almond milk
4 oz of whole plain greek yogurt
2 oz of avocado

Blend everything together. Drink will be thick and very creamy and the consistency will be more “shake” like. This should satisfy hunger for several hours…
